A self-proclaimed weather geek, rock hound, and keeper-of-all-obscure-knowledge, KD enjoys riding her bike across the Texas countryside to work out story arcs. At home, when her energetic Sheltie leaves her alone, she writes fantasy mixed with a touch of romance. She pulls ideas from her two decades (plus) of military service and subsequent travels around the globe as well as from anything that grabs her attention in daily life.

Her first book, Daughter of the South Wind, gives Greek gods and goddesses their own stories and is the first in a series of a world KD created called The Immortal Dimension. And, there may be a couple things in it from her own childhood, too.
