Kasimma is an Igbo woman. She was born in Jos where she went to primary school, then to secondary school in Abuja; university, Nsukka. She’s been a writer-in-residence in artists’ residencies across Africa, Asia, and Europe. She’s an alumna of the Purple Hibiscus Creative Writing Workshop, the IWP workshop, and the SSDA Flow workshop. Readers can find her works in The Puritan, Kikwetu Journal, Kweli Journal, The Book Smuggler’s Den, Jellyfish Review, Afreecan Read, Orbis Journal, Cacti fur, and elsewhere. Currently, she lives in her country, Nigeria.
